Kristin Fischer will join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. As the Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the advent and growth of tourism to space. Kristin has a background in the field of space as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. Over the last five years, she's been covering space policy under the Biden and Trump Administrations on FOX News. In addition to covering two impeachment proceedings against the president as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign and both administrations attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other topics. The extensive trips she took with the President and Vice-President included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan that she made along with Donald Trump.
